HELP AND SUPPORT

We are fortunate to have a social prescriber as part of our team. Social prescribing is designed to support people with a wide range of social, emotional or practical needs which can help with one’s emotional and physical wellbeing. Alex Nevatt is our area’s prescriber. With the cost of living crisis upon us, any families in need of help or advice can speak to Alex. She regularly attends our postnatal and toddler groups and can offer advice on finances, bills and food costs and signpost you to the correct service. Our team includes a practicing midwife, Susan Ray, who as well as running our antenatal course is happy to offer help and advice to attendees after the course.

Our team members are always available to offer a friendly listening ear but will not offer medical advice or otherwise.  They may be able to signpost you to relevent agencies.
